Early tomorrow morning Kendall and I are hitting the road for a Girls’ Road Trip. We’re headed to Salt Lake City, UT for the 4th BlogPaws Blogging and Social Media conference. It’s about a 13.5 hr drive, so I’m breaking it up into a
7 hr day and a 6.5 hr day. We’re staying overnight in Caldwell, ID. That should give me plenty of time to tour through the little towns in eastern Oregon and stop at roadside attractions.
On my list of places to stop are the Pendleton Woolen Mills in Pendleton, OR and a great little drive-in in La Grande, OR. I had hoped to make it to Joseph and Wallowa Lake, but it would’ve added about 5 hrs total to our trip.
Meanwhile, the cats and the rest of the family are staying home to hold down the fort. Our next post will be from the road.
You sure are taking your time getting there! I am doing the more crazy version of a road trip, in that I plan on leaving Wednesday afternoon, driving until I can’t drive any more, sleeping, then driving the rest of the way Thursday morning. It will be fun to meet all the bloggers I’ve been following for so long and be able to put human faces to everyone!
I finally get to meet you! Are you bringing the dogs?
I plan on bringing them. I figure I can take Pallo to the provided dog park group if he gets too annoying to keep with me all day!
