Flat Kendall spends more time in the Florida Keys

Flat Kendall spent a total of 10 days hanging out, seeing stuff, and relaxing in the Florida Keys. Here are some other highlights from her trip.

We stopped at the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center to see who was there. Last time we stopped we were able to feed the pelicans. Unfortunately, flooding from last year’s storms have made it so you can’t walk all the way to the beach for feeding along their boardwalk. We did see a few pelicans there, though.

On of our favorite places to visit on our trips to the Keys is Snappers. We went for happy hour and got lots of colorful pictures.

Every night we gathered on the dock to watch the sun set over Florida Bay.

We usually stay in Moon Bay, and here’s a shot of the full moon over Moon Bay.

  1. That owl picture is amazing – at first glance I thought it was a sculpture 🙂
Kendal looks right at home with the sea turtle – but then, she looks at home everywhere. In fact, you’re such a versatile pair I would like to share an award with you – please stop by Tuesday at http://www.savedbydogs.com and pick up your award 🙂

    • I took the picture of the owl through the cage and then cropped out the wires. It’s a great place to visit, if you ever find yourself in the Keys.

Thanks for the award! I’ll be sure to post about it in the upcoming week. Meanwhile, Flat Kendall’s off to Hawaii with me for work.
