I was able to get away from work for a little while this morning to see the John F. Kennedy museum and visit the grassy knoll. You can’t take any pictures in the museum, but I did get some pictures out on the knoll.
It was an interesting museum. I liked the audio tour. Having not been born when JFK was shot in 1963, I don’t know that his death had as much of an impact on me as it did on many others.
I walked out of the hotel in Dallas this morning to find dozens of bronze statues of cattle being driven by cowboys on horses. What a perfect opportunity for Flat Kendall to go on a cattle drive. I’m across from Pioneer Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas.
Those are some big cattle.
I hope they don't step on me.
There were about 50 or so cattle statues.
Ride 'em Cowgirl!
Driving the cattle
Is that great, or what? I saw something similar a few weeks ago in Omaha, Nebraska but didn’t get any pictures. That one was much smaller and was made up of bronze wagon trains.
